My wife Nancy and I sold St. Thomas Elgin Weekly News and Elgin This Month to Metroland (Torstar) in 2012, and I continued as general manager until October 31, 2014.
After several years as editor of Elgin This Month, a business and community magazine, I started my current job as Executive Director with Elgin-St. Thomas Community Foundation Click here to visit the ESCF website.
Unfortunately, The Weekly News and Elgin This Month were closed in the Great Newspaper Swap between Postmedia and Torstar in late 2017. But This Month In Elgin rose from the ashes and is now owned and operated by The Aylmer Express with sales in the capable hands of Greg Minnema.
