My wife Nancy and I sold St. Thomas Elgin Weekly News and Elgin This Month to Metroland, and I continued as general manager until October 31, 2014. I'm currently working as freelance editor of Elgin This Month, a business and community magazine delivered to businesses in St. Thomas / Elgin County via Third Class Unaddressed Admail as well as dealers outlets and upper end homes on a rotating basis in St. Thomas / Elgin.
I'm also writing crime fiction as well as volunteering with community groups, including chairing Kettle Creek Environmental Trust and working on a special event for the Trust called SpellBound 2015 Saturday April 25 at St. Thomas Seniors' Centre. It's an adult spelling bee raising funds for wetlands restoration (like Trivia but with teams of spellers).
